How does the ScamShield app work?
The ScamShield app allows users to do the following:
Checking of scams - easily find out if a suspicious message, link, or phone number is a scam. ScamShield uses a robust algorithm, with AI/ML classification to evaluate the check outcome.
Submitting scam reports - users can now upload screenshots with scam reports, so ScamShield can monitor them more effectively. Phone numbers, messages and links that are reported will be reviewed. If they are deemed suspicious, ScamShield will block the phone numbers and links.
Blocking and filtering - provides users with step-by-step instructions on how to set up their phone to block scam calls and SMSes.
