Can I check scams I received in an email, online shopping platform or social media?

The ScamShield app currently does not support the reporting of scams from email, social media or online shopping platforms.
While we are working on this feature, we do have a unique workaround for you.
Step 1: Launch ScamShield App > Click on 'Check for Scams' > 'A message you received' > Select 'Others' when asked to choose where you got this message.
Step 2: Copy & paste the scam content you came across. Please exercise caution when doing this so that you do not accidentally click on any suspicious links. If you know the sender, you may type in the name of the sender.
Step 3: Click on 'Check'. If the outcome of the check says 'Be careful, we are not sure about this one', please click on 'Got it' > 'Report potential scam'.
Following this, ScamShield will report this potential scam for you.
