# Does the ScamShield app auto-report all the scams I check?

No, the ScamShield app only auto-reports two types of senders:

1. If the message, phone number or link has a high probability of being a scam
2. If the message, phone number or link is spam or promotional content

If the ScamShield app is unsure about a check and you think the message, call or link is suspicious, please proceed to submit a scam report. To find out more about what the outcomes of various checks are, please refer to our section on [Understanding Check Results.](/using-scamshield/check-for-scams.md#understanding-check-results)
