# How to check a website link

**Step 1:** Launch ScamShield > Click on "Check for scams".\

**Step 2:** Click on 'Start Check'.\

**Step 3:** Select 'A website link'. \

**Step 4**: Copy & paste the link you want to check > click on 'Check.'\
