Are there any privacy concerns with using the app?
No, both iOS and Android have strict privacy rules on what the ScamShield app can or cannot read.
If a known contact sends you a message, the SMS will not be read by the ScamShield app. If you have previously interacted with an unknown contact, or decided to engage an unknown contact in conversation, then the ScamShield app will not filter messages from this contact either.
Only messages sent by unknown persons via SMS will be filtered by the ScamShield app if the content is deemed suspicious.
To better understand how we protect your privacy, please check our Privacy Policy.
