# Does ScamShield filter messages on other apps like WhatsApp?

No, the ScamShield app can only filter incoming SMSes at the mobile OS level. If you receive scam/spam messages on other chat apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, WeChat, IMO, Viber, etc. you can forward them to us using ScamShield’s in-app reporting function.

Please note that ScamShield also does not work on third party apps either like iBanking apps, ecommerce apps (eg. Shopee, Amazon) or delivery/transportation apps (eg. Grab, Gojek).
